15 months

Collins saw Dr. KAE today for their 15 month well checks. Casen weighs 23.2 lbs and is 32 inches long; Collins weighs 19.2 lbs and is 28.5 inches long. They each got one shot & took them like champs!

A little sleepy snuggle time before mommy has to leave for work.

A new favorite pastime... laundry basket adventures with Captain Case & his 1st mate, Lainey!
Meet Ranger, the kids' new plush rocking horse! He showed up unexpectedly on my parent's front porch the other day. They had some neighbors move recently & I guess Ranger didn't make the cut for the moving van. He is super cute & the kids love taking turns for horse rides!

Bryan's Uncle Lonnie visited Dallas recently (from Florida) & sent cute stuffed animals for the kids, including 2 life-sized stuffed iguanas! Lonnie works at Disney's Animal Kingdom with all kinds of cool animals. Hope he's impressed with Casen & Collins' "iguana wrestling" skills!

Thanks Uncle Lonnie & Aunt Kathy!!

Aunt Lori has a neighbor in Portland who works for Nike. She was so sweet to offer up 6 pairs of baby Air Jordans that were display models last year. Casen just started wearing size 5 shoes & he loves his new kicks!
Collins getting a Cheerios snack.
Casen wanted to ride the racecar, too & thought he could sit on the hood. Not so fast, brother! Collins doesn't feel like sharing.

This picture is so funny! Looks like Collins hit Case with her racecar... don't mess with a girl when she's driving! :)

Easter 2012

Baby Update: We're currently 16 weeks along & everything is going great. I'm pretty much over the morning sickness/nausea phase. I'm just really tired most of the time. I'll see Dr. Tibiletti again in a couple of weeks & hopefully get an ultrasound at that visit. Can't wait to see our little peanut moving around!

We went to Dallas for Easter this year. This was Case & Lainey's first attempt at an Easter egg hunt. They weren't quite sure what to think at first, but caught on quickly. They loved the colorful eggs!
Huh?!?! You want me to do what with these eggs?
Collins collecting Easter eggs.
I think she's a little excited...
Our beautiful, sweet baby girl! Collins started walking well on her own this week. She just thinks she needs to stick her tongue out to balance... hilarious! :)
Look! I found a blue one!!

Our handsome little man!
We decided that we would get the kids a baby splash pad for Easter since they're too little for candy. They had a blast!! Casen kept attacking the slide because he wanted to slide down again and again. Collins loved splashing in the water - we can't wait to play with it again!!

Casen trying to catch a sip of water from the "clam sprinkler."

Happy girl slipping & sliding.
Come on, Daddy! I want to slide!!
Casen couldn't get enough of the slide.

Lainey taking Case for a ride! She is walking really well with support & has even taken a few steps on her own.
Casen found the stick that locks our sliding glass door & loves to walk around with it. Baby Moses looks a little sleepy!
I've been trying to get the kids ready for a new baby brother or sister. I love on Collins' baby dolls & show the kids how to hug, rock, & kiss them. Collins loves to kiss anything (open-mouth kisses all the way!). Casen is so sweet! He loves to imitate me rocking the baby. He'll nuzzle a doll or stuffed animal right up to his neck, then walk around with it & pat its bottom.
Collins kissing her baby doll.
We've had some beautiful weather recently & have been able to take a few wagon rides. The kids love all the bumps!
I took Casen for his 1st hair cut - he was starting to get a little shaggy! He did great while LaCee trimmed his hair & even let us spike it up.

What a big boy!! Where did my baby go?!?

Surprise!

We have some very exciting news to share... we're pregnant! I've felt a strange loss of appetite over the past month or so, but didn't think much of it until I started to feel a little nauseous last week. I decided to take a pregnancy test & to my surprise, it was positive!! Because I was still nursing Casen & Collins, I had no idea how far along we were. We went in for a sonogram this morning to measure the baby & estimate his/her gestational age - it turns out that we are already 11 weeks along!

We are thrilled that God is allowing us to experience another pregnancy & give Case & Lainey a little brother or sister - we are SO blessed!

14 months

My mom & I took the kids to Mrs. Lee's Daffodil Garden in Gladewater this week to take some cute spring pictures. Unfortunately, most of the Daffodils were already past their prime. We still managed to get a few pics & enjoyed getting out in the beautiful weather!

The sun was SO bright! Here are the kids with a few remaining daffodils.

My sweet, sweet babies!

Casen is improving his walking skills & now he wants to walk EVERYWHERE he goes!

Smiley boy!

Collins past her prime... "Mommy, pick me up!!"

We use this chair as a toy box. Case is perched on top of a pile of toys - right in the middle of the action!

Silly boy!

Aunt Suzy described Casen walking "like a crazy starfish"... oddly enough, that's sort of what he looks like! He is so proud of his new skills!

Collins isn't walking independently yet, but she gives Case a run for his money when she's behind her "baby walker". She is very competitive with her brother. When she sees him walking, she wants someone to help support her so she can "walk", too. It won't be long before she takes off on her own. "Watch out world... Here I come!!"

Love those pigtails!

Collins playing with the dump truck.

One of Collins' favorite toys... her racecar from Aunt Lori! She loves to ZOOM it around on the floor.

Collins being silly with her racecar driver.

Window blinds are just SO tempting, mommy!

Love her!!

Wampa with his 2 favorite sidekicks... they're such great buds!
