It's a...

GIRL!!
We are thrilled to announce the birth or our beautiful baby girl
Miller Vivian McCaskill
Born 9/17/12 @ 8:16pm
Weight: 7lbs 14oz, Length: 19.5in

I began having regular contractions early Monday morning (9/17), so Bryan & I headed to the hospital.  My blood pressure was a little high when we arrived.  They got me hooked up to the monitors, and then my contractions died down.  The OB on-call decided to send us home, so we spent all of Monday trying to catch up on sleep from the sleepless night before.  I had a previously-scheduled appt with my OB Monday afternoon.  When we saw him, my blood pressure was even higher than that morning's reading.  He decided we were ready to have a baby & sent us back to the hospital.
Casen & Collins hanging out with mommy while we wait for Gram & Wampa to come pick them up. They did great amidst all of the hospital excitement.

In labor & delivery, waiting for our c-section.
Everything went well during surgery. My platelet count was normal (yay!), which is something we'd been monitoring throughout my pregnancy. They did have to push a bag of IV fluids quickly so we could make our surgery time. That caused me to get pretty cold & I was shaking uncontrollably before & after delivery. I also got a little nauseous during surgery, but the nurse anesthetist gave me some meds quickly & neither one of us got puked on! Bryan was in the delivery room & got to tell me that Miller is a girl :)

Miller's 1st picture.
When they took her to the warmer, I looked over & said "she is so big!" She was almost as big as Casen's & Collins' birthweights combined.

Our sweet baby girl!

Bryan was right! Miller does look more like Collins. They both have big cheeks & round faces. I still think she favors Casen with her nose & chin. Collins looks just like Bryan, Casen looks more like me, & Miller is a pretty fabulous combo of both of us!
She was born with dark brown hair (only on the back 1/2 of her head), sapphire blue eyes, & a gorgeous complexion.

Back in labor & delivery to recover.

Another granddaughter for Gram & Wampa!

I think they like her...

Case & Lainey came up to the hospital to meet their baby sister. They are both very sweet with her! She was crying when they came in the room & Casen immediately stopped to find out where the noise was coming from. He watched intently as I changed her diaper, then wanted to give her a kiss. Collins saw Casen kiss Miller, then of course wanted to give out her own kisses. Casen is a big helper - he loves to bring Vivi her blankie whenever he sees her. We still have to watch them closely so they don't hit or grab Miller, but overall they are adjusting really well!

Aww! I love this picture! What a proud big brother.

"Mmm, yeah, pretty sure I'm ready to eat."
"Mom! I am definitely hungry - stop taking pictures & feed me!!"

Miller & her Nana
Bryan's mom came to stay with us for a few days to help out. She's loved spending time with Miller & taking Case & Lainey on lots of wagon rides! We are lucky to have the help as we adjust to life with 3 kids :)

Beautiful flowers from some sweet church friends

Miller's 1st bath
Initially she did not like the water, but once she got used to it she did great!

 Snuggly little lion :)

We definitely have our hands full with 3 kids under the age of 2. It's a good thing we're such a good team!
